The “Protect The Kids” committee was created to to recommend ways to protect the community from sex offenders and to end inconsistencies in the way they are sentenced and monitored. Making Westchester County a safe place for its children is a primary concern for us all.

The committee is made up of professionals from myriad disciplines, including the judiciary, social services, the legal community, law enforcement, treatment providers, mental health and education.

These resources represent the culmination of the committee's task to help the public answer questions about identification and prevention of child abuse, as well as to provide relevant information for victims and offenders.
